Domestiquer series by Frédéric Saulou Frederic Saulou responds to a question that can quite hard to answer, “What is the role of architecture in design?” What can building materials and ornamentation typically reserved for buildings can offer to objects conceived for domestic use? In his “domestiquer” series, Frederic Saulou creates directly from such questions. His inspiration came while wandering the streets of his city; Saulou developed a deep interest in facades decorated with slate and ornamental stone.
